Royalty

Royalty refers to the highest ranking ruler of the realm and his close family, mainly the head of a certain notable family and the most powerful person within the realm.

Despite being in an island separated from England, Flintwhenia belongs to the English realm under King Henry I, son of William the Conqueror - the Norman Duke of Normandy who usurped the Kingdom of England just years ago.

It is accepted within the common folk that the King, who is crowned by the Church, is in fact crowned by God himself to deliver his duties to their world. The Church usually goes hand-in-hand with the Nobility and Royalty, often supporting each other in conflicts and in official meetings.

In addition, members of the royal family were often appointed to positions of power within the realm - exercising various governmental or military duties.

The King

Head of the royal faction or affiliation, he is the highest ranking ruler of the realm and his established dynasty - a monarch.

Acting as the highest authority with the support of the Church, he governs the realm with the rule of law - using the Church to establish his rule official to gain recognition from the Nobility and the common folk.

He appoints vassals to directly rule lands which he leases them, they swear fealty to him and their allegiance is dedicated solely to him and to the well-being of his family.

The Queen

The spouse of the monarch, a lady of prominent family who had married her husband in a most likely arranged married conducted out of a political strategy or sense of duty.

She is to produce proper lineage to inherit the kingdom upon the passing of the monarch and to safeguard them.

It was common for the Queen to act as regent in the case of her spouse's departure to exercise his duties outside of the kingdom or in case of his inability to govern.

Princes

Male children of the monarch and his spouse, they are in line to inherit their father's titles with he eldest son being the first in line of inheritance.

They are groomed to rule and thus they receive proper education, learning the aspects of faith and the Church, language as in to how read and write and warfare.

Princesses

Female children of the monarch and his spouse, they do not inherit any titles unless the monarch has no surviving sons.

They are groomed in aspects of faith and womanhood, motherly-like education in order to be raised as a good marriage match for other monarchs or potential rulers.
